Farming the Wet Prairie: For about 125 years, agricultural drainage has dried landscapes in the Midwest, including most of Nicollet County. We will visit a drained lake bed and relic wetlands. Tour Leader: Dr. Robert Moline.
Northern Plains Dairy: This dairy operation houses 3,000 Jersey cows whose milk is made into cheese and whey byproducts. The dairy features innovative environmental protection measures. Tour Leader: Cathy Dowd
