For the second consecutive year, Gustavus placed 20th in the nation at this year's American Forensics Association National Individual Events Tournament. Held in Austin, Texas, Gustavus retained its stature as a national top 20 program, holding its ground against the fifteen Division I schools that placed ahead of Gustavus in the top 20. The end of the 2006-2007 forensics season ended with a historic victory. For the first time in recorded school history the Gustavus Forensics team placed in the top 20 at the 30th American Forensics Association National Individual Events Tournament.
