The Hillstrom Museum of Art, one of the foremost art institutions of southern Minnesota, has an active schedule of temporary exhibitions of art by contemporary and historical artists of regional, national, and international renown. These include exhibits related to the Museum's permanent collection, which has a concentration on American art of the first half of the twentieth century, especially in the figural/realist tradition, plus exhibitions of artwork by Gustavus Adolphus College studio art faculty and students. The Museum also presents related lectures and gallery talks by artists, art historians, and art critics.

For most exhibitions, brochures or checklists are available free of charge, and there is no admission charge for exhibits or programs. For more information, see the Museum website.
